The Position
This is a key role in a small friendly and motivated team within the Canberra Clinical School delivering education and training to medical students enrolled in the 4-year postgraduate medicine program.
The position is face-to-face and is based at Canberra Hospital.
With no two days being the same, the role is integral to the delivery/support of the Canberra Clinicals School's deliverables. It is a broad hands-on, client facing role which includes liaising with diverse stakeholders ranging from clinician educators, medical students, volunteer patients, rostering and scheduling students and presenters, maintaining calendars, databases and workflows, keeping learning resources up to date and working in a team to deliver a busy schedule of teaching and School activities.
The Person
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills, effective self-management and a strong desire to work in a hands-on education/program delivery environment are key. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and who can quickly acquire an understanding of the School's work plan and contribute to its outcomes.

The School
The Canberra Clinical School is a business unit of the ANU School of Medicine and Psychology. The Canberra Clinical School is responsible for the delivery of medical education programs, including clinical skills and clinical education to students enrolled in the 4-year post graduate medical degree program. The School is located on site at Canberra Hospital and works very closely with Canberra Health Services to deliver a comprehensive program of teaching, clinical and academic supervision, simulation and student placements.
The College
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environment and Society, Medicine and Psychology, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres.
