About the role

Whitsunday Sands Resort is seeking experienced and reliable Relief Resort Managers to join our team in Bowen, QLD. This is a long-term casual role that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work at our beautiful seaside resort. As Relief Resort Manager/s, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the resort every 3rd week for 2 days/nights, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You must also be available in an emergency for relief at short notice and have your own ABN.

What you'll be doing

Managing all aspects of front office operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest relations. Guestpoint experience preferred.

Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the resort facilities and grounds

Resolving any guest issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Overnight call outs when/if required by in house guests

What we're looking for

Experience in a resort or hotel management role, preferably in a similar capacity

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

Proficient in using property management software and other relevant technology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions

Available for/if an emergency arises for the onsite Managers

Long term position

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

Own Australian Business Number (ABN) required
