About the role
Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable Venue Manager or Referee to join the TRL Sunshine Coast team in Maroochydore, QLD. This casual role will see you play a vital part in the operations and delivery of our Touch Rugby League competitions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Venue Manager Role:
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate the operations of the Touch Rugby League venue, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants
Provide excellent customer service to players, coaches and spectators, responding promptly to any inquiries or issues that arise
Set up and pack down the venue before and after matches, including field preparation, equipment management and administrative tasks
Contribute to the continuous improvement of venue operations
Provide First Aid for injured players
What we're looking for:
Reliability: Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
Must have: A Car and License, First Aid and CPR, Working with Children Certificate
Additional: (Preferred, not required)
Previous experience in venue management or customer service
Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Touch Rugby League
A passion for sport and a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all participants
Strong Content Creation skills (Instagram Stories)
Referee Role:
Officiate Touch Rugby League matches by enforcing the rules and regulations of the game, maintaining safety and promoting fair play
Referee payments start at $20 per game (40 minutes) and increases with experience and performance
Tax free if "Hobby" guidelines are met
Hours Required:
Venue Manager role: must be available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5:00pm - 9:00pm (Approximately)
Referee role: Flexible nights and hours (Ref between 1 and 10 games per week)
