About the Role

Ethos clinic is a well established service located in the southern suburb of Mount Pleasant. We provide exceptional mental health care in a compassionate, professional, and supportive environment. We are seeking a Part time Medical Receptionist who shares our commitment to kindness, respect, and empathy. Immediate start for two days a week with the possibility to increase hours from next year.

What you will be doing:

Warmly greet and assist patients and visitors.

Manage a high volume of telephone calls and inquiries with professionalism.

Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception and waiting areas.

Accurately process Medicare billings, patient payments, and reconciliation.

Perform general administrative tasks including faxing, scanning and mailing.

Monitor and maintain stock levels of office supplies.

Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation.

Support policy adherence and notify management of procedural changes.

Assist with daily banking and basic financial record keeping.

Eligibility

You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold Australian permanent residency.

Willingness to complete all required compliance training.

National Police Clearance.
