About the role

Eric Street Medical are seeking to add to the team, we are looking for an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionists to join our dynamic team. This part time role is an integral part of our clinic operations, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff.

What you'll be doing

Warmly greeting patients and visitors, and managing the reception area

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring smooth patient flow

Handling patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and empathy

Accurately processing patient registrations, billing, and other administrative tasks

Maintaining confidential patient records and files

Providing general support to the clinical team as required

What we're looking for

Previous general medical practice service and experience

Ability to assist in the day-to-day management, direction and operation of the reception desk

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional yet friendly disposition

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare administration processes

A genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical team

A sense of humour and a positive team attitude
