About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to deliver a high-quality, contemporary, respiratory science service to the clients and stakeholders of Redcliffe Hospital. Use high-level respiratory science knowledge and skill, to exercise independent professional and clinical judgement to make informed decisions in the management and conduct of respiratory clinical measurement procedures

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Apply knowledge of Queensland Health policies, procedures, and guidelines in delivering a safe and effective service.
  • Contribute, and if opportune, initiate research activities at the direction of the Director, Respiratory Sciences at TPCH.
  • Develop respiratory clinical measurement practice knowledge and professional expertise through active learning by engaging in internal and external professional development opportunities.
  • Act as a hospital wide resource for queriers pertaining to respiratory clinical measurement.
  • Provide clinical supervision to HP3 Clinical Measurement Scientists.
