THE MONDAY GROUP has been engaged by a luxury hospitality group to appoint a Membership Manager for its new private members’ club in Sydney.

With a global reputation for excellence in wine, food, service, and curated cultural experiences, this brand is now establishing itself in the Australian market. In this newly created role, you’ll be responsible for building out the club’s founding membership community, managing the member journey from enquiry to onboarding and beyond.

This role suits a strategic, people-focused operator who brings both a strong administrative backbone and the confidence to represent a premium brand among high-profile clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention in the pre- and post-opening phases
• Vet, liaise with, and meet prospective members, guiding them through the application journey
• Manage onboarding, programming involvement, and early-stage member communications
• Handle membership administration including invoicing and CRM management
• Represent the brand at local industry events, tastings, and cultural activations
• Identify new social networks and partnerships to grow the club community
• Collaborate with internal teams to shape the member experience from day one
• Maintain a discreet, professional, and service-first approach at all times

About You

• Experience in a membership-based or luxury hospitality organisation is highly regarded
• Strong administrative skills and process management (CRM, invoicing, reporting)
• Confident engaging with high-net-worth individuals and social leaders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—polished, personable, proactive
• Strategic thinker with a nose for networking and growing communities
• Interest in food, wine, and cultural programming
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and adaptable in a start-up style environment
• Excited about the potential to grow into a Head of Membership role
