As the Club Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional member experience while driving the commercial success of our club. You’ll lead a dedicated team, foster a positive culture, and champion our commitment to community, wellness, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Management

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Membership Consultants, and Trainers.

Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for members and guests, ensuring staff provide outstanding customer service.

Lead by example, promoting Huntlee Fitness’ values of community, wellness, and empowerment.

Manage staff schedules, address employee concerns, and collaborate with HR on disciplinary actions.

Oversee the group fitness timetables, coordinate and communicate with instructors, evaluate effectiveness of the timetable, and facilitate in the ongoing success of classes at Huntlee Fitness.

Operational Excellence

Oversee daily operations, ensuring the gym, wellness room, and facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, membership growth, and facility standards, contributing to Management bonus schemes.

Manage high-level membership tasks and ensure smooth front desk operations.

Marketing & Sales

Work with the Marketing team to promote memberships and wellness initiatives tailored to the Hunter Valley community.

Train staff to deliver engaging tours for prospective members and communicate promotions effectively.

Coordinate and participate with the social media manager regarding content, idea generation, and filming days in club.

Assist in managing all social media channels.

Facility Maintenance & Safety

Ensure the gym and wellness room are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Oversee stock take and timely ordering of products for the club.

Reporting & Administration

Complete reports on club performance and ensure timely submission of monthly budget reports and financial processes.

Skills Required:

Proven ability to lead teams with a focus on community and wellness.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.

Willingness to learn and manage operational budgets.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.

Effective verbal and written communication.

Experience in the sports and fitness industry and/or sales is a plus.
