Our Sites: From the super cruisy Sugar Rd OG site where your title is left at the door but man best friend is always welcome to our flagship venue at Buderim where mouth watering Tacos, Burgers, Scnittys and Ribs are just the start of our offerings, with a full function/events room ready for any occasion.
Who are we looking for:
-Previous Venue Management, functions bookings and event co-ordination and duty manager experience is essential, manage function enquiries in a timely manner.
-Experienced in marketing co-ordination to attract and build customer base and promote the venues capabilities.
-Can do attitude and the ability to undertake challenges as they arise and be a strong leader of a hospitality team.
-Warm personable and customer relationship focused to drive repeat business and quickly tailor function packages to suit customer enquiries and convert bookings in a timely manner.
-Highly organized and strong interpersonal and familiar with hospitality software platforms (OpenTable, lightspeed)
The guts of the Role:
-As the primary point of accountability, you will be supported to build and expand the venues revenue base. A high level of autonomy will allow you to put your mark on an already popular venue and demonstrate your previous experience and passion for hospitality.
-Field event and function enquires, as the primary point of contact. Efficiently tailor packages and convert bookings in a professional manner for both Venues.
-Collaborate with the hospitality and admin team to seamlessly deliver events and functions with clear and concise run sheets and resource planning.
-Overseeing and creating regular events, run sheets and managing budgets (trivia, comedy nights, theme nights, etc...) and seamless delivery.
-Undertake marketing activities to promote the venues and events are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
-Identity external opportunities and promote the venue and build relationships to drive events and functions to the venue, including assisting with and developing marketing activities and strategies.
-Act as the primary contact for larger events and bookings to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
-Provide on the floor back to back support to the existing team of legends to ensure coverage at all times. This will involve leading by example to build the team's performance and customer experience. Pouring beers is naturally part of the role.
-Identify and capitalize on key dates and create new experiences for our loyal customers and build on our venues reach.
This roll can be tailored to suit the right candidate, it is full time permanent and is intended to provide back-to-back coverage with the team. Based at our predominantly at our Buderim venue on the Sunshine Coast the hours will be based around hospitality hour meaning weekend work will be part and parcel of the role.
