Highly respected and busy Tier 2 builder are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team working on a $400 mil mixed use development in the Gold Coast.

Must have experience with finishes and services to be considered for this role and already have proven experience working in an SPE role on a similar size project.

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors including health, education, resi and commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
• Managing commissioning and project completion activities
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
• Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
• Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
• Supervising a cadet and overseeing the QA and defects process
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on projects over $150 mil
• Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Builder
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
• Reliable references
• Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
• Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia

Salary up top $230k Package for the right person and will help with relocation costs if required.
