Retail Sales Assistant. Battery World Berri Casual.

We are looking to fill a casual retail assistant role.

An opportunity exists for automotive battery sales, installation and service roles at our family run store.

There is a requirement to work on a rotating roster including regular Saturdays and may include some public holidays as well as availability for occasional 24/7 roadside call outs on a roster system. We are a small team so flexibility with rosters and hours is essential

In this varied position, you'll get to install batteries in-store and assist stranded customers to help them get going again.

We install batteries into watches, key fobs and various household items.

We also install and assist with truck batteries, car batteries, camping batteries and accessories plus more.

Experience in the automotive/auto-electrical trade will be very highly regarded.

To be successful in this role you must have -

Experience in a retail sales role

Current drivers licence

Ability to understand and explain technical products

Experience in Automotive Mechanical/Electrical Preferred

Must be able to fit Automotive Batteries

Able to occasionally undertake after-hours call-outs
