The Opportunity

This is a superb opportunity to join a well-funded, fast-growing fintech with global operations. Headquartered in Melbourne and expanding steadily across several international markets, the business offers a collaborative and flexible culture with a clear growth trajectory.

As the most senior finance leader reporting to the CEO, you’ll oversee all core financial functions including compliance, reporting, FP&A, and leading a high performing finance team. This role will suit someone excited to lead finance in a scaling environment, driving improvements and best practices.

The Challenge

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the production of consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple entities
• Overseeing tax compliance, annual audits, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
• Enhancing treasury, finance operations and systems to support scalability
• Preparing monthly board packs and management reporting
• Partnering with advisors across Australia/UK/Europe/US
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors and insurers
• Leading and developing a high-performing finance team

The Expertise

Please consider applying if you have:

• CA/CPA qualification and 10+ years of relevant finance experience
• Strong accounting background, most likely gained in a CA firm
• A background in fintech, SaaS, payments or another high-growth business
• Proven success working across multi-entity, multi-currency businesses
• Strong team management experience is a must - you’ll manage a team of people who are smart and good at what they do; they’re seeking a leader they can look up to
• You have great initiative & problem-solving capabilities and you’re seeking an environment where you can work hard and have fun, and where you’ll be recognised for your efforts
• Hands-on experience with Netsuite or similar, and strong Excel skills
