An established and fast-growing food & beverage company is on the lookout for a talented Full Stack Developer with deep Shopify expertise to help scale their direct-to-consumer and retail platforms. With operations based in Sydney and a strong footprint in the ready-made meals sector, this business is entering its next phase of growth and innovation.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, entrepreneurial team where ideas are encouraged, speed is valued, and culture is key. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can own the full web development lifecycle—from backend integrations through to frontend delivery—particularly in a high-volume ecommerce setting.
The Tech Environment

• Shopify (Liquid, Shopify CLI, Plus APIs)
• React + TypeScript (Next.js)
• Node.js + NestJS
• MongoDB
• Azure / GCP
• Dynamics 365 (F&O) – nice to have

What You’ll Be Doing

• Customise and maintain Shopify Plus themes and components
• Build scalable features using Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL)
• Write clean, maintainable code across frontend and backend
• Work closely with product and design to deliver seamless user experiences
• Manage integrations with platforms like ERP and subscription services
• Improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of commercial web development experience
• Strong track record with Shopify Plus in multi-brand environments
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills
• Familiarity with headless Shopify builds or custom storefronts
• Experience integrating with APIs and working across the full stack

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to Shopify B2B tools or Hydrogen/Oxygen frameworks
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of ecommerce architecture, subscriptions, and SEO best practices
• Integration experience with platforms like ERP, CRM, or middleware
