Position Overview

We're seeking a Full Stack Developer who can work independently and isn't afraid to tackle challenges head-on.

Planning to development of web applications to

Creating build pipelines and maintaining back-end systems to

Implementing user interfaces that people actually want to use.

In summary this position offers a balanced mix of full stack web development,
as well as ongoing management of existing products and projects,
but most important with the autonomy enabling our teams in making meaningful technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The following is a list of the key responsibilities you can expect over the coming months:

Independently develop, optimise, and maintain web applications and APIs with minimal supervision

Design and build front-end components ensuring seamless integration with back-end APIs

Develop and maintain back-end services, endpoints, and repositories that form the foundation of our platform

Manage back-end applications and servers to ensure reliable performance

Utilise AI tools for code generation, debugging, and optimisation to maximise productivity

Collaborate with the product team to test and refine user experience

Update and manage web applications including regular releases, improving user satisfaction

Develop and implement analytics and algorithms to measure and improve system performance

Ensure best practices in security, performance, and deployment across all projects

Manage Git pipelines and version control to maintain clean, organized codebases

Take ownership of tasks and proactively research solutions to technical challenges

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in full stack web development with a proven track record of successful projects

Frontend expertise: Component development and API integration

Backend proficiency: Endpoint development, service architecture, and repository management

Database experience including basic SQL querying and data management

Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Experience with Azure cloud services and deployments

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Bootstrap and/or React)

Strong independent work ethic with excellent project management skills

Experience using AI development tools for enhanced productivity

Knowledge of web security best practices and implementation

Nice-to-Have Skills

UI/UX design experience

Designing System and Solution Architecture

Azure Certifications and/or experience with Azure Services (Entra, IoT Hub, Cosmos DB, etc.)

IoT sector experience including communication protocols, asset management, and connectivity solutions (LoRa/WiFi/Cellular)
