Albright Institute of Business and Language delivers Vocational qualifications at Certificate levels, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas and Graduate Diploma in Business, Marketing, IT, and Interpreting and Translation, and work in collaboration with various partners to deliver further services to their students such as student counselling, visa advisory, and accommodation.

Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to join our professional and dynamic team in our Sydney campus located at Haymarket, NSW/Australia. This is a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

As a Knowledge Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the RTO within the regulatory frameworks and work in collaboration with business partners to provide guidance to clients in relation to their immigration status and pathways upon course conclusion. You will also contribute significantly to the growth and development of the company.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate prior experience in a similar environment, with previous experience in the same occupation or co-related fields. The role requires an excellent communication skills, organisation, decision-making skills, and multitasking skills who can work independently.

As a Knowledge Manager, you will be assisting clients to comply with their visa conditions by being updated with immigration legislation, ensuring they meet student genuine criteria, compliance with their visa conditions, among other requirements enforced by law.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Participate in regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

- Ensure compliance with licenses required to be held by the College

- Prepare meeting with clients to explain student visa criteria, and respond to any question in relation to the compliance with these requirements

- Research and explain changes on legislation regarding the compliance of student visa requirements

- Prepare events and information session in collaboration with other partners, including immigration law firms

- Review and evaluate policies, and procedures to support business operations by proposing improvement areas aligned with organizational goals.

- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant migration legislation and standards.

- Oversee and ensure all training and assessment resources align with CRICOS standards and requirements.

- Monitor and maintain adherence to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards, ensuring Albright Institute stays compliant with regulatory body.

- Ensure all course delivery, assessment tools, and student information management systems meet the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and CRICOS requirements.

- Collaborate with academic staff to create and maintain learning and assessment resources,

ensuring they are current, valid and meet the needs of diverse student groups.

- Regularly reviewing training packages and courses to ensure they remain relevant to industry standards and the needs of international students.

- Manage the sharing and dissemination of critical information related to training packages, standards,

and best practices across the organization.

- Identify potential risks relating to knowledge management, such as gaps in training materials or

compliance, and take corrective actions.

- Oversee the continuous professional development (CPD) of trainers and assessors and teachers,

ensuring they are up-to date with the latest industry trends, methodologies and regulatory changes.

- Ensure clients (students) meet genuine entrant criteria upon enrolment

- Prepare document information flows to measure progress, ensure effective knowledge sharing, and support management decisions.

- Stay updated on legislative and policy changes, adjusting internal policies and procedures as required.

- Prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting existing gaps and metrics for improvement.

- Ensure business competitiveness and alignment with best practices while considering cultural and market differences, both onshore and offshore.

- Participate in video and marketing content aiming to share the updates regarding law changes.

- Develop and maintain procedure manuals and manage administrative tasks.

- Communicate changes on legislation, internal policies, legislative requirements across the organization

- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, deadlines, and customer expectations.

- Liaise with clients, corporate partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational processes and goals.

- Create partnership opportunities to expand the business in collaboration with external stakeholders and partners.

- Participate in business development activities to engage clients and partners.

- Ensure client needs and expectations are met to the highest standard.

Skills Required:

-Written and verbal communication.

-Ability to work under minimum supervision

-Decision-making skills

-Ability to research changes on legislation that affect studentvisa holders and temporary graduate visa holders

- Management skills

-Ability to research law changes

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM databases, and accounting systems

Education and Previous Experience:

- Relevant tertiary education in the same field or co-related field.

- Prior experience in a similar or co-related role required.

Working Arrangements:

Full-time hours: 38 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays

Permanent position

Annual Salary - 75,000 - 80,000 AUD per annum plus superannuation.
