Cultivated Commerce is a specialist commerce agency dedicated to Shopify and solving unique eCommerce challenges. Based in Perth and working with clients Australia-wide, our team brings over 20 years of experience helping product-based businesses scale through strategic design, purpose built technology, and seamless platform integration. From independent retailers to national wholesalers and global DTC brands, we’ve built long-term partnerships that deliver results.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and project success through excellent communication, coordination and administrative diligence. The position requires a proactive individual who can balance client-facing responsibilities with internal collaboration and organisational precision.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes commerce and is comfortable strategising solutions, managing large scale projects, interpreting performance data, scoping third-party integrations, or leading an ongoing support engagement.

Responsibilities
Lead the Team – Manage and mentor our Account Management team.
Own the Client Relationship – Be the go-to for your client portfolio.
Drive Projects Forward – Track progress, flag risks, and keep things moving.
Stay Organised – Keep comms, briefs, and approvals documented and accessible.
Align the Team – Keep internal teams across client expectations and updates.
Run the Rhythm – Lead weekly client check-ins and internal syncs.
Brief with Clarity – Ensure designers and developers know what’s needed and why.
Audit & Improve – Keep project docs clean, complete, and up to standard.
Report Back – Deliver clear monthly updates on wins, issues, and milestones.
Refine the Process – Recommend workflow tweaks that improve delivery and service.
Plan Strategically – Contribute to quarterly account planning and growth reviews.
Share Insights – Report on client trends and opportunities during internal reviews.

Your Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Account Manager (or similar) in a digital or eCommerce agency
Able to juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities without dropping the ball
Strong understanding of Shopify and the ecommerce ecosystem
Comfortable translating between strategy, marketing, design, and development teams
Skilled in project tools like Productive, Asana, Trello, HubSpot, and Google Workspace
Excellent written and verbal communicator, clear, calm, and client-friendly
Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Passionate about delivering great work, growing client partnerships, and doing things properly
