IFM Group is an established Industrial Maintenance company based in Cockburn, WA. We specialise in Civil, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical works, servicing some of WA’s most respected mining organisations and agricultural operators.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Trade Qualified Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential to grow into a more senior role.

About the role

This full-time contract role is based in Naval Base, servicing the Cockburn and Kwinana strip. You will perform a variety of industrial maintenance and repair tasks across a range of sites.

Key responsibilities

Carpentry work across industrial and commercial maintenance environments

Meeting deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship

Working both independently and as part of a team

Adhering to safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture

What we’re looking for

Trade qualified Carpenter

Broad maintenance and repair skills

Masonry and concrete finishing experience (advantageous)

Previous industrial or commercial maintenance experience

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

Good communication skills and positive attitude

Own tools of the trade

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Construction White Card

Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

Desirable (but not essential) licences and tickets
The following licences and tickets are considered advantageous: Working at Heights, Confined Space, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), HR Driver’s Licence, Forklift Licence (LF), Telehandler Ticket (Gold Card), Gas Test Atmospheres, High Risk Work Licence, and MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card). Applicants without these qualifications are still encouraged to apply, as training will be provided to the successful candidate.
