Sous Chef

Bailey Brewing Co., is searching for a passionate Sous Chef to work with us in our family-focused, busy venue in the Swan Valley offering the best of hospitality and dining culture, offering Australian pub classics, a host of specials, weddings and functions.

We are looking for a Sous Chef, full time with the desire to make a difference.

Our Swan Valley venue features a state-of-the-art brewery, 245-capacity tavern, nature playground, large outdoor screen, and much more.

About the Role

Experience with seasonal produce.

Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

Must display excellent prep, cooking, and plating skills.

Strong emphasis on quality, and consistency of dishes.

A sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene.

Ability to handle large service numbers.

A team spirit, a bright and positive demeanor.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

A relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery.

Someone who thrives working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Permission to work long-term in Australia

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Flexibility with working hours.

Ability to place great emphasis on flavor, quality, and consistency at all times.

Knowledge of Modern Australian Cuisine.

The ideal candidates will have a hand on approach, be self-driven and most importantly a team player,

Due to the nature of the business, it is essential the potential candidates are flexible with working hours. Our core business is providing the best customer service to our clients and this role is essential in setting the scene for exceptional customer service.

The successful candidates will be required to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including on weekends depending on scheduled structured rosters, functions and events.
