About the team
ORALRA supports the Registrar in key functions under the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 (NSW), including managing land claims, maintaining registers, approving Land Council rules, issuing compliance directions, and resolving disputes. ORALRA also works with Aboriginal Affairs NSW, the NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC), and other agencies on ALRA development and reform. Learn more at https://www.oralra.nsw.gov.au/
We're Looking For
- Administrative and Organisational Skills: Demonstrated strong organisational abilities managing competing priorities and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Confidence in communicating sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Adaptability and Problem Solving: Demonstrated experience in resolving issues in a dynamic and unpredictable environment that is fast paced with varied tasks.
- Teamwork and Reliability: Experience working in a collaborative and supportive team utilising discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Meticulous attention to detail: Experience ensure the integrity, reliability, accuracy of data and data systems.

Salary: Classification Grade 3/4. Package includes base salary ($84,659- $92,701) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
