How You Can Make a Difference

At the Heart Foundation, we're on a mission to keep Australia ticking. A significant portion of our work is made possible by people who have left a gift in their Will – and that's where you come in.

We're looking for a Gifts in Wills Coordinator (Relationships) to help us love our supporters back. You'll join a small, close-knit team (just two of you!) and report to the Gifts in Wills Lead, building relationships with some of our most generous and inspiring supporters.

This is a stewardship role with soul – and a lot of phone calls. We're talking warm, genuine, sometimes emotional conversations with amazing people, many of whom are older Australians. You'll also attend events, send cards and letters, manage data with care, and help refine processes along the way. Think of it as relationship management with extra heart.

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and the office.

You'll thrive if you:

• Have great phone manner and aren't shy about picking up the phone
• Can connect with people 1:1, even on the tricky topics
• Have experience in customer service, admin and CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge etc)
• Have high attention to detail and love ticking off processes
• Are calm under pressure, kind under stress, and curious about what makes people tick
• Enjoy getting stuck into a database and can spot ways to do things more efficiently
• Bring a bit of empathy, and adaptability to your work
• Are Sydney-based (ideally), but we're open to the right person from other locations

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in Gifts in Wills or fundraising
• Are used to high-volume inbound and outbound calls
• Have a soft spot for writing notes and heartfelt stewardship
