Our mission is to provide high-quality, person-centred care through a biopsychosocial model of health. We specialise in the provision of innovative treatments for mental health and chronic pain, and are expanding our clinical services across multiple centres around Australia.
The Clinical Operations Manager (COM) will serve an operational role and be responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of Anodyne’s pain management and ketamine clinics across multiple Australian locations. This includes leadership and coordination of nursing staff, liaison with referring and treating doctors, oversight of clinical processes and protocols, management of clinical diaries and bookings, support with clinic setup and expansion, and responsibility for ordering and inventory management. If clinical requirements necessitate, the COM may also be required to deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care. The COM will be based in our Perth Headquarters, but be expected to travel interstate as required.

Key responsibilities:
Clinical Operations
Oversee and manage the daily clinical operations of Anodyne's pain management and ketamine clinics across all locations.
In conjunction with medical and administrative teams, oversee the clinical services diary and scheduling system to optimise resource use, clinical staff duties and patient flow.
Supervise clinical documentation, review procedures, and quality assurance.
Order and maintain clinical supply chains including stock, consumables, equipment and emergency equipment.
Ensure all locations are adequately stocked and prepare for audits or inspections.
Clinical Leadership & Staff Management
Lead, support, and manage the clinical team, primarily nursing staff.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Ensure all team members comply with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Serve as a consultant in areas of expertise to facilitate the provision of quality clinical care.
Actively participate in performance development, education of self and colleagues, and promotion of educational activities as determined by service requirements.
Promote collaboration, cooperation and teamwork through effective leadership and people management practices to achieve service objectives in line with Anodyne values and policies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Clinical Liaison
Serve as the key clinical liaison between nursing staff and referring practitioners.
Coordinate patient care processes and ensure seamless clinical communication.
Develop and promote relationships with GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, referrers and other key stakeholders.
Clinical Governance
Develop, implement, and refine standards, clinical policies, protocols, procedures, programs and workflows that support best practice, quality management and safety.
Maintain a safe clinical practice and working environment.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements, healthcare standards, and governing legislation
Ensure compliance with all Anodyne policies and procedures, vision, mission, and values, promoting a safe, harassment-free, and discrimination-free workplace.
Attendance and support of clinical governance related meetings
Develop and implement operational objectives and strategies in collaboration with the Managing Director.
Business & Service Development
Collaborate with the Managing Director on special projects, including quality improvement initiatives, clinical service development and clinical expansion.
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures, workflows, programs, and service development initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical services, ensuring budget compliance and improving performance against budget goals.
Initiate or participate in action research projects, quality assurance programs, and quality improvement activities.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance customer care services and experience.
Assist with the setup and operationalisation of clinical services and new clinic sites, including layout planning, equipment sourcing, and staff deployment.
Drive business development initiatives to expand Anodyne and Anodyne's clinics across multiple centres around Australia and Internationally.
Nursing Care (if required)
Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex needs.
Maintain and ensure high standards of nursing care for a specific group or population.
Provide education and counselling aimed at health promotion and improvement.
Plan and coordinate services for patients, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
Appointment pre-requisites
Registered as a Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Minimum 3 years' experience in clinical operations or healthcare management with supervisory and management responsibilities.
Postgraduate qualification in health management or willingness to complete in the near future.

Knowledge of legislation relevant to nursing practice and Equal Opportunity.
Desirable skills:
Experience in quality management or project management.
Accredited Advanced Life Support certification.
Medication endorsement with S8 and IV medication competency.
Experience with Gentu medical practice software and Microsoft 365 Applications.
Experience working in private practice or outpatient clinics specialised in mental health and/or pain management.
Other requirements
Commitment to maintaining professional registration and engaging in continuing professional development activities.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between Anodyne sites as required.
Ability to interstate travel as needed.
Provision of the minimum identity proofing requirements.
Successful National Police Clearance / Criminal Record Screening Clearance.
