Practice Manager – Specialist Periodontal Clinic

We are a well-established periodontal practice with two experienced periodontists providing a full scope of periodontal therapy — including advanced surgical procedures, implants, and sedation options (IV and general anaesthesia). About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Practice Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our clinic. This is a diverse role that combines front office coordination, staff support, patient care, and occasional clinical assisting.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day clinic operations and workflow

Leading and supporting a small, close-knit team

Coordinating appointment scheduling and patient communication

Processing payments, managing accounts receivable/payable, and other admin tasks

Overseeing and occasionally assisting at reception and chair-side as needed

Preparing surgeries and maintaining sterilisation and infection control protocols

Ensuring patients receive a warm, professional, and caring experience

What we’re looking for:

A strong communicator who leads with empathy, confidence, and positivity

Previous experience in a senior dental reception or practice management role

Chair-side dental assisting experience

Familiarity with Ultimo practice management software (desirable)

Working knowledge of HICAPS and health fund systems
