We're on the lookout for a reliable, people-first Assistant Manager to work alongside and support our Venue Manager, and be part of our leadership team. A Bit About the Role

This role is a hands-on, people-facing role and is key in supporting the Venue Manager and the team. You'll help lead the daily running of the hotel, making sure both our customers and team members are well looked after.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting day-to-day operations across the bar, bottle shop and gaming areas

Leading by example – setting the tone, keeping standards high, and the vibe welcoming

Working with the Venue Manager to drive team performance and improve processes

Cash handling and reconciliation tasks

Making sure the venue is safe, clean, well presented, and always ready to welcome customers

Jumping in wherever needed – whether it’s pulling a beer, troubleshooting tech, or keeping service smooth

Being available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts (most of them during the day), with no shifts past midnight

What We’re Looking For

Previous hospitality leadership experience (Assistant Manager or Supervisor level ideal)

Someone confident, friendly, and customer-focused

Ability to support and motivate others to do their best

A team player with a can-do attitude, excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm head under pressure

Strong understanding of venue operations – RSA and RCG are essential (or willing to obtain)
