Are you an experienced Tax Accountant looking for flexible hours and a supportive working environment?

John Lombardo, a boutique accounting firm located in Chelsea Heights, is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services to a broad range of clients across various structures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare income tax returns, financial statements, and BAS for individuals, sole traders, companies, and trusts.

• Assist with tax planning and compliance activities.

• Stay up-to-date with relevant tax legislation and regulatory changes.

• Review tax-related correspondence, reports, and documentation.

• Support ad-hoc tax-related projects and occasional bookkeeping tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public practice accounting.

• Experience with MYOB AO and BGL is highly regarded.

• Substantial knowledge Australian taxation laws, compliance and regulations

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files efficiently.
