About the business and the role

We are a busy practice located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula providing business and accounting services to a diverse range of clients based all over Australia.

Candidates must be job ready and able to work on our client base from day one, so you will possess strong accounting & tax knowledge and had at least 2 years recent accountancy practice experience.

The job is ideally to work full time hours but there may be the ability to be flexible with your work hours to ensure you have a great work / life balance but you are required to work in the office at Mount Eliza

Regular in house training is provided by an external training organisation to all professional staff with the added opportunity to attend additional training courses to enhance your accounting knowledge.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Duties will include but not limited to, preparation of financial accounts & tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals, preparation of quarterly BAS reports, data processing & bookkeeping, liaising with clients and assisting partners as required. SMSF experience would be a bonus.

Skills and experience

To be a successful applicant you will need to a proactive self starter with a can do attitude that is confident to work independently but can work as part of a team and assist others when required, it is essential that you have great computer skills and a friendly out going personality
