Tattersalls Boutique Hotel in Armidale has a great opportunity for a Breakfast/Lunch Cook to join our growing team.

This is a full-time position. This would be ideal for someone who wants to build experience in high volume, fine dining kitchen.

The role offers an amazing opportunity to work alongside a team of talented chefs. You will need to be flexible, with the ability to work mornings and weekends.

The role

Reporting to our Head Chef, the successful candidate will:

Manage day-to-day operations of the breakfast and lunch section and any other section as directed by the Head Chef;

Ensure excellent quality throughout all breakfast offerings;

Coordinate your sections preparation and presentation;

About you

Certificate III in commercial cookery, or equivalent is recommended

Be extremely well presented

Work in a friendly and respectful manner with fellow employees

Good communication skills and great ability to work as part of a team

Outstanding multitasking capability and willingness to work in a highly demanding position

An eye for detail and the ability to produce high quality consistent food products

Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods

Carry a high standard of personal hygiene and exceptional food prep, cooking and presentation standards.
