The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on leader to step into the role of Assistant Holiday Park Manager at Halifax Holiday Park Nelson Bay, NSW.

Halifax Holiday Park is one of four Holiday Parks within the Port Stephens Beachside Holiday Parks Group. The Park has a total of 120 sites and 37 cabins and is located on the beachfront between Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay NSW.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Holiday Parks Operations Manager to oversee the day to day operations of Halifax Holiday Park. You’ll guide and support our team across Grounds, Housekeeping and Guest Experience to make sure everything runs smoothly and our guests enjoy the best possible experience.

This is a varied and people focused role that involves:

supporting our team leaders with daily coordination and task management

overseeing rosters to ensure adequate staffing across shifts

monitoring maintenance and presentation standards to ensure the park is safe, accessible and looking its best

leading the delivery of a high-quality guest experience

This role works on a rotating 7-day roster. This means you’ll be scheduled to work across any day of the week alongside your team. Participation in our after hours on call rotation is also required.

This is a temporary 9-month contract opportunity – working full-time 38 hours / week on a 7 day rotating roster

Base Salary Range: $82,208 to $96,718 pa based on 38 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
