Topweld General Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Construction Estimator to join our team in carrying out various mechanical tasks and responsibilities.

We’re currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team—someone who can carefully review project requirements and provide accurate estimates for time, labour, materials, and overall costs. This is a full-time role suited to someone who is hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic about what they do.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Providing logistical and administrative support to professionals such as construction managers, architects, and surveyors throughout project development

Analysing design documentation, legal guidelines, and compliance frameworks to inform project execution

Creating concept illustrations, technical drafts, and detailed documentation to guide construction processes

Compiling and updating visual representations, including diagrams, site plans, and technical schematics

Managing timelines by organising and tracking construction milestones and deliverables

Verifying construction quality and material integrity against project specifications and regulatory standards

Assessing resource requirements and preparing forecasts for project costs and duration

Recording spatial data through the use of surveying tools and imaging technologies

Performing standard technical calculations and preparing plotted data for engineering analysis

Developing and presenting budget projections and cost assessments for building projects up to pre-contract negotiation stages

Experience

· At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred

· Holds at least a relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma

· Past experience and high technical knowledge in this industry preferred

Annual salary package: $90,000 per annum plus superannuation
