Australian Security Fencing (ASF) has been successfully designing, manufacturing, and installing High Security Fencing products for over 38 years.

The Position

We are seeking to appoint a Welder/Fabricator to join our operation based in South Windsor, NSW. The primary responsibility for this role is light to medium gauge steel fabrication, assembly, and manufacture of High Security products, including Posts, Gates, Locking Assemblies and the like.

We provide full on the job product line training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble and weld light to medium gauge steel components to detailed drawings and specifications.
• Interpret Plans and engineering drawings, take or read measurements to plan layout and manufacture.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on engineering requirements.
• Set up components for welding in accordance with engineering drawings.
• Operating production machinery, including Press, Fold, Punching Machines, and a varied range of Hand Tools.
• Other tasks that may be required from time to time.

Skills & Experience:

• Light to medium gauge steel fabrication.
• Experience working in fabrication environment / process line .
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and movements.
• Enjoy working in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift license preferred
