About the role
A Front Office All-Rounder at Q Station is not your average hotel reception role! You will receive requests regarding our famous tours, our iconic waterfront restaurant as well interacting with guests visiting us to ensure they enjoy their stay. Q Station hosts many conferences, events and weddings on site each week, and our ever-evolving environment will ensure your continued growth in the industry.
Reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager, this role is central for ensuring successful Hotel operations and exceptional guest experience is delivered.
We currently have casual opportunities available for candidates who are passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Front Office All-Rounder, include, but are not limited to:
Welcoming and checking guests in and out while looking after their needs from arrival to departure.
Operating mini bus transportation for guests around the property.
Assisting with guest requests (face to face and over the phone).
Working with our property management reservations platform and processing guest information.
Above all, ensuring every guest who visits the property receives VIP treatment, enjoys their stay and are excited for their next visit with us!

Essential Criteria
Ability to work a rotating roster - early morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts.
Maintain a current driver's license.
Maintain a current RSA certificate.
Previous hotel front office or reception experience is highly regarded.
Exceptional telephone manner and etiquette.
The ability to effectively communicate with customers and the wider Q Station Team.
A friendly and proactive approach when resolving issues.
