The Role - Full time - based in our Epping Head Office

Reporting to the Testing and Release Manager, the Senior Testing & Release Analyst sits within the Digital Transformation and Delivery teams and works across a broad network of internal and external stakeholders.

Internally, the role collaborates closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, IT specialists, and teams responsible for risk, compliance, and legal matters. It also engages operational managers and department heads to ensure solutions are practical and aligned with frontline needs.

Externally, the role liaises with business partners and service providers to support successful solution delivery, inegration, and ongoing optimisation.

Requirements & Release Analysis

Review and update business, clinical, and system requirements for completeness and testability.

Analyse software release notes and impact assessments to design appropriate regression and feature test coverage.

Validate that releases meet business and compliance expectations (e.g., Aged Care Quality Standards).

Develop and maintain business cases, process maps, and technical documentation as required.

Identify and mitigate delivery and release risks proactively

Release Testing & Validation

Participate in end-to-end release validation including:

Pre-deployment validation in staging/test environments

Post-deployment smoke tests in production (as part of release runbooks)

Support hotfix/patch validation as needed

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to confirm deployment success and issue resolution

Ensure solutions meet compliance standards for privacy, security, and risk

Testing

Provide hands-on support for testing activities, including test monitoring and reporting.

Create testing artefacts such as scripts and requirements traceability matrices.

Ensure testing frameworks align with delivery objectives and governance structures

Requirements

Personal Attributes

Collaborative and proactive mindset

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Clear communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts

Education and Experience

Proven experience as a senior testing resource within the aged care sector

Demonstrated expertise in project delivery (agile and waterfall)

Hands-on experience in reviewing, writing requirements, and testing within aged care

Exposure to data warehouses, integration layers, and aged care systems (Desirable)

Skills and Capability

In-depth knowledge of aged care systems and integrations

Strong risk management and reporting skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 solutions (Desirable)

Ability to leverage delivery insights to inform decisions and improve performance

Subject matter expertise on aged care reforms and regulations
