We are seeking a highly capable Insurance Specialist to take full ownership of regional insurance operations across the Asia Pacific.

Clarity Partners is partnering with a global organisation at the forefront of offshore and subsea operations. Renowned for its innovation, safety culture, and global collaboration, the company delivers complex marine projects that span multiple regions.

This is a standalone and autonomous role, requiring self-initiation and full responsibility for insurance matters for the DOF Group across APAC. You will be the subject matter expert for the region, driving insurance strategy and execution in alignment with business and operational needs. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong grasp of operational risk within the Oil & Gas, Marine, or Offshore sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Regional GM HR – Asia Pacific, with a functional line to the Corporate VP of Insurance and Risk (based in Norway).
• Manage all insurance-related matters across the APAC region, including annual renewals of personnel and commercial policies.
• Coordinate and support insurance compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Handle insurance claims from initiation through to resolution.
• Ensure all departments and projects have appropriate, fit-for-purpose insurance coverage in line with internal standards and industry specifications.
• Maintain strong working relationships with external insurance providers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing and supporting regional insurance budgets.
• Provide expert advice and insights to regional and global stakeholders on risk and insurance matters.

Preferred:

• 3–5 years’ experience in the Insurance field (insurance advising, broking and/ or underwriting, ideally with exposure to the Oil & Gas, Offshore, or Marine sectors.
• Strong working knowledge of operational and project-related insurance in the APAC region.
• Tertiary qualifications in Legal Studies, Finance, Risk, or similar.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of your function.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with multinational insurance programs and claims handling preferred.
