Description

The initial focus of the role will be centred on developing internal relationships with relevant stakeholders such as Branch Managers, GM's etc, and ensuring stronger compliance to current processes, this will encompass the following:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiate terms, reduce vendor pool, ensure supplier quality and compliance, and integrate ESG criteria into selection processes.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through the standardisation of equipment and common purchases, securing rebates and payment terms, and fostering long-term savings through effective spend management.
• Oversee logistics, inventory optimisation, and supplier risk, while enhancing responsiveness and resilience through data analytics and market-driven strategies.
• Leverage ERP and e-sourcing tools, maintain procurement policy compliance, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver procurement systems that support operational and customer objectives.

Profile

The successful individual will demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position, with demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders of varying levels.
• Previous experience supporting the development and integration of an entire supply chain function.
• The ability to analyse data and develop actionable strategies that contribute to efficiencies or commercial outcomes.
