With continued growth and a commitment to workplace safety, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health & Safety Advisor to join an established team in a full-time, permanent role.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting a strong safety culture across commercial projects. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, proactive mindset, and communication skills will make a real difference on-site.
You will be out in the field conducting site audits, supporting subcontractors, running inductions, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. Your experience in the construction sector and confidence working with teams on-site will be key to your success.
Hours: Full-time (flexibility required across 5.5 days, approx. 8:30am – 5:30/6pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with OH&S procedures
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and audits
Review and sign off on SWMS for all site trades
Lead toolbox talks, OH&S meetings, and worker inductions
Maintain the incident register and oversee corrective actions
Investigate incidents and support the implementation of preventative measures
Support managers and contractors in meeting their safety obligations
Monitor PPE compliance and workplace safety standards
Ensure all processes and documentation align with current legislation
What You Bring:
Cert IV in WHS/OH&S (or working towards a tertiary qualification)
3+ years’ experience in a similar safety role within the construction industry
Confident working across multiple sites with trades, supervisors, and PMs
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing safety documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, BuildPass, Aconex or Hammetech
