About the positions
2 x Permanent Full-Time roles @ EPPING DEPOT
You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of the suburban train fleet vehicles. The role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and punctual operation of the train fleet.
- Permanent, full-time position
- Hours of work:
- Day shift Monday to Friday on commencement, future shift work opportunities subject to business requirements
- Free on-site parking
- Monthly RDO for Monday to Friday day workers
Key responsibilities include:
- Overhaul, repair and test air-brake system components • Perform system modifications as required.
- Perform duties in accordance with Metro's Quality System.
- Change major fleet components- all other mechanical components as requested.
- Participate in multi-skilled training and activities for which you are deemed competent.
- Ensure tasks are performed to approved standards and instructions, within the allocated timeframe.
- Ensure that all work that is performed is recorded and reported.
- Undertake any other duties as specified by the Manager in accordance with your level of competence and training.
- Computer use and basic knowledge is required.
About you
- AQF III Trade qualified as an Electrical Fitter or Electrotechnology Technician .
- A current/valid Full Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Previous experience in a maintenance environment.
