About the Role

This exciting role & opportunity exists at the Stawell, Victoria Australia meat processing plant, the gateway to the Grampians. Where you'll work with a diverse team who align with our values & are passionate and empowered to perform at pace & achieve big things.

Great Opportunity exists, the Mechanical Fitter is a hands-on role that is primarily responsible for ensuring the continual operation & effectiveness of all Plant & Equipment at the facility. Responsible for carrying out the site’s preventative maintenance program & attending to breakdowns. It requires using technical knowledge & sound problem solving skills to resolve issues in our “Can-Do” Maintenance Team.

Salary Range 105k-125k Dependent Quals/Experience

Fulltime 38hrs pw with Immediate Start

Just like our best cuts of meat, there are a few essential qualities that we need and look for in this role:

Relevant Trade qualification – Mechanical Trade.

5 yrs+ Experience as a Mechanical Fitter (Industrial mechanical maintenance).

Good fabrication skills & broad overall machinery knowledge.
