Sunwater is looking for a seasoned Applications Business Analyst to enhance the business performance of our applications, ensuring they effectively meet stakeholder expectations and deliver strategic value.

Work. Reporting to the Applications Manager, you will engage with stakeholders to gather comprehensive business, functional, and technical requirements, ensuring that all application needs are clearly documented and understood. As part of this, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding to ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives.

In addition, you will:

• Analyse and document current processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within supported services and applications.
• Maintain clear traceability from initial requirements through to the final solution design, ensuring that all requirements are met and that there is a clear link between business needs and technical solutions.
• Assist in the design of solutions, validate against requirements, and support user testing to ensure that solutions meet stakeholder needs.

We are seeking an experienced professional with at least 5 years of ICT business analysis experience with a degree in IT or business (or equivalent experience), coupled with vendor management experience (desirable). You will have knowledge in, and an ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on applying appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools.

In addition, you will have:

• Business Analyst certification (CBAP or PMI-PBA) or equivalent industry experience
• Experience leading workshops and stakeholder interviews in a complex environment
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical audiences
