About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Roofing Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Sexy Roofing Pty Ltd in the Northern NSW, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Ipswich on varied projects in residential metal roofing. This full-time role will involve overseeing and coordinating the installation of metal roofing systems on residential construction sites.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and lead a team of metal roofers to ensure timely and high-quality installation of metal roofing systems

Develop and implement work schedules, task assignments and resource allocation to optimise productivity

Liaise with project managers, contractors and clients to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications

Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the roofing crew as needed

Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and safety compliance

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on the job site

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant building codes and industry standards

What we're looking for

Substantial experience (3-5 years) as a metal roofing supervisor or foreman in the construction industry

Qualified Tradesperson

Thorough knowledge of metal roofing systems, installation techniques, and building regulations

Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively coordinate and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, project managers, and the roofing crew

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Commitment to safety and quality standards

Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently
