About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated apprentices or Labours to join our team at Caliber Metal Roofing Pty Ltd in Brisbane QLD . This is a full-time position where you will learn the trade of roof plumbing and work on a variety of commercial and residential roofing projects. Calibre Metal Roofing Pty Ltd do a lot of insurance work from storms events in areas impacted by hail. There for there will be away work from time to time with Food, travel, and accommodation will be paid on top of your wage.

What you'll be doing

• Assist experienced roof plumbers with the installation, metal roofing systems
• Learn how to measure, cut, bend and install metal roof sheeting ,roof cladding, gutters, downpipes, flashings, install of metal battens, install of insulation blanket
• Understand and apply relevant building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Participate in your plumbing qualification

What we're looking for

• Commitment to completing a 4-year roof plumbing apprenticeship
• Interest in working with your hands and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work safely
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A valid driver's licence is preferred
