Temporary Payroll Specialist position

High-end residential construction group known for quality craftsmanship and architectural detail. Works on bespoke homes, collaborating with top architects and designers.

Southern Sydney, temporary position with possible extension. $65 - $70/hr + Super depending on experience.

Our client is a leading premium residential construction company based in Sydney, known for delivering architecturally designed homes with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Projects typically range up to $6 million, with a strong track record collaborating with some of Australia’s top architects and interior designers. Supported by a skilled in-house team of tradespeople committed to excellence across every build.

The Role:

As the Payroll Specialist, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

Work closely with the FC and HR in the mapping of procedures and processes of a recently implemented payroll system (Definitiv).

Assisting in processing payroll for 180 staff

Ensuring award calculations are implemented correctly

Ensure accurate payroll transactions and payments.

Complying with relevant awards and legislation

Ad Hoc duties as required.

Your Background:

To be considered for this Payroll Specialist position, ideally, you will meet some of the following criteria:

Immediately available to start

End-to-end payroll experience for a minimum of 3+ years

Process or procedure mapping

Experience using Definitiv System is highly regarded but not essential

Strong communication skills, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to drive would be preferred; free parking available
