About the Role
A well-established organisation in South-West Sydney is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer for a 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is confident managing payroll operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for over 250 employees
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and internal policies
• Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records
• Interpret and apply employment legislation and enterprise agreements
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and financial reporting
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
• Respond to employee queries regarding pay, entitlements, and deductions

About You

• 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll experience (Australian experience)
• Proficiency with payroll systems (Preceda experience highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practices
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
