Absolute Payroll are thrilled to be EXCLUSIVELY representing a highly prestigious, award winning and internationally renowned Australian institution, who have just created an incredibly exciting brand new payroll opportunity for at least the next 9 months.
They are looking for an experienced Payroll Project Professional with over 10 years of payroll expertise, to guide stakeholders in defining requirements and converting them into actionable, strategic solutions.
They offer a highly flexible WFH environment - 1 days per week in office at best - really is just being available for the occasional executive meeting.

NUTS & BOLTS:
- This position entails managing documentation, process mapping facilitating clear communication, and providing customised, creative solutions that align with established systems and protocols.
- Offer expert advice on Payroll management to ensure the smooth execution of this large-scale strategic project.
- Coordinate and assist in the prioritisation, planning, and execution of various tasks, ensuring efficient resource allocation and team alignment.
- Spearhead stakeholder engagement efforts to gather, analyse, and define intricate business requirements.
- Create and sustain detailed and precise documentation for both business processes and technical specifications.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project consistency.
- Collaborate to design and present innovative, practical solutions that align with stakeholder expectations and existing frameworks.
- Maintain rigorous quality assurance standards, ensuring all outputs meet the organisation’s high standards of excellence and reliability.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, collecting feedback and facilitating productive conversations.
- Supervise reporting and compliance processes within the work area, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the systems.
