Central Tablelands Water is a single-purpose County Council providing potable water to over 15,000 customers across 13 towns and villages. We supply potable water for residential, industrial, and rural use across an area spanning approximately 14,000 sq/km.
Central Tablelands Water is now recruiting for the newly created position of Engineering Coordinator. The position is responsible for the technical overview of the water infrastructure across Central Tablelands Water service area ensuring asset management and future infrastructure is appropriately considered.

The position is an office-based position located in Blayney NSW.
Your key responsibilities will include
Responsible for the development and maintenance of CTWs Assets Management Plan (AMP).
Develop and maintain asset management framework and register to capture condition assessments, end of life timeframes.
Process forms, plans, values for all project components, to inform the asset register
Ensure the Metrix and Asset Register are maintained and available for other staff to refer
Assist to improve and maintain all policies and procedures relating to assets and project management
Assist in the develop, maintain, and lead the framework for Scada, telemetry, and other systems across CTW
Design, develop and deliver projects including develop strategies to meet and improve budget
Monitor, review, and maintain the Renewable Energy Action Plan, while improving CTWs green energy resources
Detail design and hydraulic assessments of network and infrastructure for current situation, and future growth.
Actively contribute to the Drinking Water Management System (DWMS)

Essential Criteria
Class C Driver’s licence with a safe driving record.
Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline, or minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Water utilities position within a local government setting.
Demonstrated project management experience for engineering and asset renewal projects.
Willingness to work flexible hours to complete the requirements of the position including emergency leadership.
Demonstrated computer skills, such as Microsoft applications and ability to adapt to various technology.
Demonstrated high level analytical, strategic, research, problem solving skills, with commercial business acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people, build effective relationships, and achieve positive outcomes including the ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional conduct.
High-level communication skills and the ability to understand financial data and manage budgets, engage with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
Ability to prepare complex reports and returns for Council and Government Authorities.

An attractive salary negotiated with the successful candidate between $83985.20 to $101622.56 gross per annum depending on skills and local government experience.
Option for a fully maintained leaseback vehicle 'within' above salary package.
