Sharp & Carter are exclusively recruiting a Mid-Market Account Executive for a high-growth, Australian-founded SaaS business as they enter their next phase of expansion across ANZ.
This is a bootstrapped, scale-up success story - their platform is trusted by hundreds of businesses across compliance-driven sectors, helping clients simplify and automate parts of their recruitment and onboarding processes.
With consistent growth, strong product-market fit, and a high-performing sales team, they’re ready to double down – and need a motivated AE to help drive the growth.
This role is perfect for a proven SaaS closer with 2+ years of outbound experience, ready to take the next step in both earnings and career growth – with huge commission potential, clear progression, and the chance to help shape a scaling success story.
The Role: Mid-Market Account Executive
- Own the full sales cycle – from outbound prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation and close.
- Close deals across SMB and Mid-Market (150–5000 headcount), with a focus on compliance-heavy recruitment industries like healthcare, construction and beyond.
- Be self-sufficient in building a strong outbound pipeline, as well as managing a steady flow of quality inbound leads - supported by tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator & ZoomInfo
- Run tailored, value-led demos for HR, Talent and Compliance stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to create long-term client partnerships
What’s On Offer
$120,000 - $130,000 base salary + uncapped commission
OTE $250,000 in year 1; $300k+ in year 2
- Market leading, uncapped commission structure that allows for earnings to climb YoY
- Healthy deal flow - 2–3 quality inbound leads per week, plus named prospect ownership
- Flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week, with in-office collaboration Mon/Wed/Thurs

What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of SaaS full-cycle experience is essential
- A proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets and a genuine desire to succeed
- Creative problem-solving skills with a strategic, value-led approach to selling
Nice to have:
- Experience with MEDDIC methodology
- Exposure to compliance-heavy industries
- Background in recruitment or HR/Talent tech sales
