Real Time Bookings is a fast-growing SaaS company transforming the way property managers and trades coordinate and communicate. Our integrated platform streamlines property maintenance, automates workflows, and simplifies communication — saving time, reducing errors, and improving service outcomes across the industry.

As we scale across Australia and beyond, we're on the hunt for a high-performance, hunter-style Business Development Manager to lead the charge in new customer acquisition and market expansion.

About the role:

As a BDM at Real Time Bookings, you’ll be responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities with property management agencies, real estate networks, and trade service providers. You will be required to be laser-focused on outbound sales and deal-making — perfect for someone who thrives on chasing new leads, converting cold prospects into warm opportunities, and building scalable revenue streams.

You’ll be joining a nimble, founder-led team in a growth phase, meaning your impact will be visible, measurable, and crucial to the company’s trajectory.

Your key responsibilities will be:

· Aggressively prospect new leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person outreach

· Manage and convert warm existing and inbound leads generated by our marketing team

· Qualify, pitch, and close new business across target markets

· Run tailored demos to show how Real Time Bookings solves real industry pain points

· Own the entire sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement

· Meet and exceed sales KPIs, with a strong focus on monthly MRR/ARR growth

· Identify and map high-opportunity regions, accounts, and segments

· Attend industry events, expos, and network meetups to generate demand

· Execute outbound campaigns in collaboration with marketing

· Contribute insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and objections

· Maintain clean, accurate data in CRM (HubSpot)

· Track activity metrics (calls, emails, demos) and conversion rates

· Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handover and long-term retention

· Provide feedback to product and tech teams based on prospect interactions

You will be:

· Hunter by nature — you enjoy the chase and closing

· Experience in B2B SaaS or tech sales, ideally with exposure to property, trades, or workflow software is preferred but not essential – we want someone who is keen to work hard, has big goals and is focused

· Comfortable selling to business owners, agency heads, and operations leaders

· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Organised, proactive, and high-energy — a driver, not a passenger

· Network or experience in property management, real estate, or trade services

· Familiarity with tools like PropertyMe, Property Tree, or maintenance management platforms

· Experience selling early-stage tech or contributing to startup GTM efforts

· Strong grasp of SaaS economics (MRR, CAC, churn, LTV)
