The Opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time Marketing & Events Assistant to join our growing Sydney team. This is a broad, hands-on role supporting a range of functions across the business - including marketing, events, client engagement, and business operations. You’ll work across multiple teams and projects, contributing where needed to help deliver our global portfolio of executive-level technology events.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who’s looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment and is eager to contribute to a variety of activities that drive business outcomes.

The first 3–6 months of this role will be full-time in our Potts Point office, after which it shifts to a hybrid model with 3 days in-office and 2 from home.

What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on business needs, but may include:

Supporting marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, automation, content distribution, and basic analytics

Assisting with event planning and logistics, including venue research, supplier liaison, and materials preparation

Engaging with clients and event participants via email, phone, and digital platforms

Maintaining up-to-date project information in timelines and internal systems

Coordinating communications pre- and post-event to ensure a smooth attendee experience

Attending live events (locally, interstate, and occasionally internationally) to support onsite delivery and guest hosting

Jumping in where needed to support internal projects or initiatives across the business

Contributing to a proactive and collaborative team culture

This role will involve:

Travel – interstate and occasional international travel to support event delivery

Flexibility – this role will require occasional early starts, late finishes, and out-of-hours work during key event periods. (No weekend work required.)

Collaboration – working with a globally distributed team across Australia, Singapore, and the UK

About You
This is an entry-level position, so prior experience isn’t essential. We’re looking for someone who is:

Degree-qualified in marketing, communications, events, or a related field (required)

Highly organised, reliable, and eager to learn

Comfortable switching between tasks and stepping in to help different teams

A confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

Interested in technology, events, marketing, or business strategy

Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

A team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed
