About the role
Join AFRA - Australian Furniture Removers Australia as a full-time Digital Marketing, Events and Membership Services Officer based in Castle Hill, NSW. In this diverse role, you'll be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy, coordinating member events, and providing top-notch membership services to support the organisation's objectives.
What you'll be doing
Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across AFRA's website, social media channels, and email newsletters to engage members and promote the organisation
Coordinate the planning and delivery of industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities for AFRA members
Work to attract new members and facilitate on boarding
Manage AFRA's membership database and provide responsive and helpful support to existing members
Assist with the creation of marketing collateral, such as brochures, posters, and presentations, to promote AFRA's activities and services
Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives and event activities, using data to inform future planning
Support the wider AFRA team with ad-hoc administrative and project-based tasks as required
What we're looking for
1-3 years of experience in a marketing, events, or membership services role, preferably within an association or not-for-profit organisation
Strong digital marketing skills, including expertise in social media, email campaigns, and website content management
Strong proficiency in Canva, Mailchimp, Office 365. Intermediate knowledge of WordPress (website). Knowledge of Zoho CRM a bonus.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Enthusiasm for the furniture removals industry and a commitment to providing exceptional member services
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field OR previous relevant experience essential
A PT role is possible for the right person
Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia
