About the role

As a Prep Chef / Cook at Goldfish Bar and Restaurant, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes Goldfish Bar and Restaurant This permanent-part-time position will see you collaborate closely with our experienced team to ensure that all prep is completed before service commences

This position is a 7 am start to 2 pm, 5 days per week, no night work or weekend work unless one of our established chefs is on holiday and or during school holidays

What you'll be doing

Prepping, chopping, and portioning a variety of fresh ingredients to culinary specifications

Assisting with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and processes

Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment in the kitchen

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborating with the wider catering team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our clients

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a prep cook or line cook in a commercial kitchen setting

Strong knife skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

Good understanding of food preparation techniques and best practices

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
