About the role

Evolve Early Learning Centre is seeking a part-time Childcare Cook to join our passionate team in Bligh Park, NSW. As the Childcare Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the children in our care, ensuring their dietary needs are met in a safe and hygienic environment.

This role is required five days a week 8.30-1.30(Can be negotiable start and finish time, minimum of 5 hours needed Monday to Friday)

What you'll be doing

Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks that cater to the children's dietary requirements and preferences

Ensure all food is prepared and stored in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to strict hygiene standards

Collaborate with the childcare team to understand the children's needs and preferences

Monitor stock levels and place orders for necessary supplies

Provide a positive and engaging dining experience for the children

What we're looking for

Relevant experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a childcare or similar setting

Knowledge of nutrition and ability to plan balanced, age-appropriate meals

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the childcare team

A passion for providing high-quality food and a positive dining experience for children

Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willingness to obtain

Working with Children Check and National Police Check
