Our client is undergoing a significant period of transformation and innovation, and is seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Business Partner to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This newly created role supports the implementation of a new HRIS system with leading a compliance project, and plays a critical role in upcoming Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations.

Your Role
As ER Business Partner, you will provide specialist advice and hands-on support across a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters. You’ll be the lead on EA negotiations, ensure compliance frameworks are robust, and support the organisation's transition period bringing a strong ER/IR lens to this change journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the upcoming Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiation process end-to-end, ensuring compliance, stakeholder engagement, and progress against key milestones.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex ER and IR matters, supporting operational teams whose strengths lie outside of industrial relations.
- Provide expert guidance on pay compliance and contribute to the data analysis and remediation process for potential underpayments, working closely with payroll and legal teams.
- Navigate ongoing SCHADS award changes, ensuring accurate interpretation, implementation, and communication across the organisation.
- Work alongside external legal counsel to assess compliance and risk within the current industrial and remuneration frameworks.
- Support the HRIS implementation project, particularly in relation to its impact on pay compliance, employment terms, and system-driven changes to people processes.
- Translate data insights and compliance findings into actionable strategies and communicate these effectively across the business.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to manage change risk associated with systems and process transitions.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects where a conceptual understanding of broader HR issues will be beneficial.
- Ensure that all ER/IR activities support a culture of compliance, fairness, and alignment with organisational values.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in an ER Business Partner or Employee Relations Manager role.
- Strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award, pay compliance, and EA negotiation processes.
- Experience supporting organisations through compliance investigations or payment reviews.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Law, or a related field.
